PRACTICUM 2025

Welcome to Our Group Portfolio!
A Practicum Trip to Foreign Trade University, Hanoi.

We are a group of six postgraduate students from the MA TESOL program, cohort 2023 at University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. We proudly present our portfolio of the practicum trip to Foreign Trade University (FTU) in Hanoi from 20th to 24th April 2025, under the esteemed guidance and supervision of Ms. Vo Thi Nu Anh.

This website showcases the culmination of our practicum experience, and highlights our journey of professional development, through a combination of planning lessons, teaching practices, as well as doing research-based projects, including workshops and seminars.

Our portfolio reflects not only our individual growth as educators but also our collaborative efforts to innovate and inspire in different contexts of English teaching and learning. With these opportunities, we have explored how pedagogical theory meets practice in real educational settings, particularly in the setting of FTU. Thank you for visiting — we are excited to share our work and insights with you!

Here we would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to all those who supported us throughout our TESOL practicum journey. First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank our main supervisor, Ms. Vo Thi Nu Anh, for her invaluable guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback throughout the experience. Her mentorship is invaluable in helping us grow both professionally and personally. We are also deeply grateful to the English Faculties of both universities USSH and FTU, for providing us with the opportunity to carry out our practicum in a professional and welcoming environment. The experience has been both enriching and inspiring. Our sincere appreciation goes to the teaching staff and administrative personnel whose collaboration and assistance made our time at the institution smooth and enjoyable. Your kindness and professionalism were well noticed. We would like to thank the students we had the privilege to teach. Your enthusiasm, participation, and willingness to learn made the practicum truly meaningful and rewarding. Finally, we would like to thank ourselves for showing up, staying committed, and embracing every challenge and learning opportunity along the way. This journey required dedication, resilience, and reflection, and we are proud of the growth it brought.

Thank you all for being an important part of this journey.
